Job summary

Soma is hiring a Sales Lead in Macon, GA to work closely with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. You’ll set the tone for a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable experiences reflecting our culture of hospitality.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach staff, manage operations, and help shape a positive team culture while delivering exceptional service to customers and supporting brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Coach and encourage the team to meet performance goals.
• Execute operations including cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with store leadership and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Foster a welcoming, customer-centered environment.
