Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead for Store 5010 Highland Village in Houston, TX. You will supervise the team, lead by example, and support leadership responsibilities while upholding brand standards and delivering hospitality-driven, personalized customer experiences.

You will mentor teammates, manage daily store operations, scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and stay knowledgeable on promotions and policies to drive sales and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merch replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
