Job summary

Soma in Friendswood, TX is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond transactions.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach teammates, manage schedules, and support operations while maintaining brand priorities. Availability includes nights and weekends in a part-time role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the store team and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Open and close store responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Provide coaching and scheduling support as needed.
• Execute operations: cash handling, inventory, replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions and store policies.
