Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front of store operations. You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service throughout the store, while actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication and organization, adaptable to priorities.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Capable of working in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a nonconfrontational way.
• Honesty and integrity with customer and business information.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to drive customer service, sales and conversion.
• Oversee weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader duties to deliver a great customer experience.
• Support company initiatives and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Assist with merchandising and sales tasks with the GM.
• Coach team on behaviors to win via role plays and feedback.
• Be flexible to take on other duties as assigned.
