Job summary

Staples is seeking Retail Sales Supervisors who champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service while actively engaging customers to provide total solutions.

Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales and conversion, while managing weekly sales and merchandising activities and acting as Floor Leader to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.

• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Physical ability to lift/move 10–50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Focus on exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and total solutions to every customer.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the store.
• Champion company initiatives, adaptable to change or responsibilities, and flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
• Remain available and always support an engaging environment.
• Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the store.
• Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on the behaviors to win, deliver great customer service and to deliver results through role playing and feedback.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
