Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a calm, cooperative manner
• Honesty and integrity with customer and business information
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales and conversion
• Focus on delivering an exceptional store experience and consultative selling
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities
• Perform Floor Leader duties to guide the team toward excellent customer service
• Support company initiatives and adapt to changes or additional duties as assigned
• Maintain an engaging store environment and assist with daily tasks and opportunities
• Collaborate with the GM on operational tasks and delegation
• Use role-playing and feedback to reinforce desired behaviors and results
