Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is actively seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in Arlington, WA. The role focuses on leading a team to deliver top-tier customer service, coaching associates, and ensuring store safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, supporting merchandising decisions, and maintaining adequate department coverage. You may occasionally open/close the store or serve as MOD, with travel not regularly required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Provide resources to associates and support merchandising decisions.
• Monitor safety, lifting techniques, and use of store equipment.
• Open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD) when needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet store goals.
• Communicate issues and successes to management.
