Description

Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers.

• In‑Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk‑in retail and wholesale customers.
• Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on‑site.
• Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
• Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them.
• Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
• Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk‑in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong customer service background.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• High School or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred. College coursework desired.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.
