Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver warm, knowledgeable service and help guests recreate the hotel experience at home.

You will upsell merchandise, maintain a pristine shop environment, handle cashier duties, and participate in stock-takes. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure within a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be revenue driven and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and professional presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to guests.
• Attend to customers in a polite manner while up-selling merchandise.
• Ensure the shop is neatly maintained and stock is replenished.
• Perform all cashiering duties.
• Provide basic sales techniques and promote Fairmont exclusive merchandise.
• Participate in stock-take and month end inventories.
• Keep the shop clean at all times and follow department standards.
• Follow all safety policies and department procedures.

We invite you to showcase your passion for engaging service as a Retail Sales Associate, where your warmth and knowledge of our offerings will assist guests in re-creating our exceptional hotel experience in their own homes

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Attend to customers in a professional and polite manner while up-selling merchandise
• Ensure the shop is neatly maintained and stock is replenished
• All cashiering duties
• Provide basic sales techniques and promote "Fairmont" exclusive merchandise to customers
• Partake in stock-take and month end inventories
• Ensure the shop is clean at all times
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Previous experience within retail preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or Point of Sales System required
• Must be revenue driven
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Previous Hotel experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
