Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver luxury guest experiences through knowledgeable, warm service and expert product recommendations. You will engage guests, maintain attractive displays, and support store operations in a high-end hotel retail environment.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer-facing experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to upsell while maintaining impeccable presentation and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell merchandise and provide superior service.
• Must be revenue-driven with a professional presentation.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Hotel retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with reliability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Attend to customers in a professional and polite manner while up-selling merchandise.
• Ensure the shop is neatly maintained and stock is replenished.
• All cashiering duties.
• Provide basic sales techniques and promote Fairmont exclusive merchandise to customers.
• Partake in stock-take and month end inventories.
• Ensure the shop is clean at all times.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience within retail preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or Point of Sales System required
• Must be revenue drivenMust possess a professional presentation
• Previous Hotel experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
