Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, assist during check-in and check-out, and ensure a memorable stay. You will work under the Director of Front Office to uphold service standards and guest satisfaction across the property.

The role emphasizes professional, friendly service, multitasking in a fast-paced luxury setting, and a readiness to handle guest needs with poise. Medical, dental benefits and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (verbal & written); second language is an asset.
• Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Previous customer-related experience an asset.
• Previous PMS experience is an asset.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications an asset.
• Must be able to type 25 words per minute.
• Professional presentation required.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
• Hospitality diploma is an asset.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to handle cash effectively and accurately.

Job Description

First impressions are everything! Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Front Desk Agent at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of 'Turning moments into memories' for our guests.

Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
