Job summary

New Balance in Philadelphia is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure stores run smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service, using in-store product knowledge and the GUEST service model. You will greet customers, assess needs, educate on features, close sales, and keep the floor neat and well stocked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat and well stocked.
• Attach/detach security tags, monitor floor merchandise and report shrinkage or safety issues.
• Close sales through suggestive selling and effective closing techniques.
