Job summary

New Balance in the United States is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure stores operate smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service with expert product knowledge.

You will apply the GUEST service model—from greeting and understanding needs to educating on features and closing the sale—while keeping the floor neat and well stocked and informing customers about promotions. A flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• People-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and the GUEST service model—greet, understand needs, educate on product features, solve problems, and close sales.
• Accurately measure and fit customers with appropriate NB products.
• Inform customers about current promotions.
• Keep the floor neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and price-marked correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and report accidents or security issues.
