Job summary

Floor & Decor's Louisville store is seeking Sales Associates to help customers on the floor with friendly, accurate service, and to assist in finding products to complete customers' projects. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Base pay starts at $15.00/hour, with higher starting pay based on experience. The role offers benefits including a 401(k) with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Forklift certifications may be required for some positions.
• Drug testing may be required for heavy equipment operation where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; keep area clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Follow cash, check, and credit card procedures; create price tags and merchandise signs.
