Job summary

New Balance in Galleria Edina, MN is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service. You will apply product knowledge, help customers, and process transactions while representing the New Balance brand with a positive attitude.

Successful candidates are 18+, friendly, and able to work weekends/holidays. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required. Competitive hourly pay is offered with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Should be a people person!
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment
• Familiarity with cash register functions
• Ability to quickly perform basic math
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate busy floor areas

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Understand customer needs and educate on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer questions and close sales through suggestive selling.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with NB products.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat and stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and price marked properly.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
