Job summary

The Salvation Army Orange County Foothill Ranch Store in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to enhance the donor and shopper experience. You will greet donors, stock and merchandise items, and help maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor and donation area.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, receiving inventory, QA inspections, and assisting donors with item pickup and receipts. Flexible, part-time shifts are available seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and donors and providing prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stocking-priced items and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Maintaining store and donation area cleanliness and organization.
• Following POS/Cash Register Policies and TSA procedures.
• Ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
• Participating in monthly store meetings.
• Receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory accurately.
• Inspecting products for defects and damages for QA.
• Assisting donors with item removal and providing receipts.
• Sorting donated material into containers and stacking as directed.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Management.
