The Salvation Army ARC Anaheim in Costa Mesa is seeking a part-time Sales Associate / Material Handler to welcome customers and donors, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized store and donation area. The role involves cash handling, POS usage, and providing receipts to donors.

Responsibilities include inventory stocking, price tagging, safety compliance, and participating in monthly store meetings.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and handle cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors, provide courteous assistance and resolve needs.
• Stock priced items and stage for display on the sales floor.
• Maintain the store and donation area, keep it clean and organized; perform cleaning as directed.
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies and TSA procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend monthly store meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect products for defects and damages for quality assurance.
• Assist donors with item removal from vehicles and provide receipts.
• Sort donated materials into proper containers and stack as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
