Job summary

The Children’s Place in Wrentham, MA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques to help customers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing stock levels, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting at the cashwrap while promoting our PLACE Card and current promotions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and promotions; offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow merchandising presentation, signage and display standards.
• Support a neat, clean stockroom and a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Assist leadership with maintenance and safety needs.
