Job summary

The Children’s Place in Braintree, MA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, maintain product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to help customers.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and the stamina to manage stock, assist at the cashwrap, and keep the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with prompt, courteous service.
• Greet customers and provide appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and promotions, offering solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate about the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow signage, presentation, and display standards.
• Support a neat, clean, organized stockroom and customer-ready environment.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute toward store goals with focused efforts.
• Process stock as needed.
