Job summary

The Children's Place in Auburn, Massachusetts is hiring a Sales Associate to support the store leadership team and help achieve company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, manage merchandise presentation, and assist with replenishment and sizing to keep a neat, inviting store.

You will greet customers, communicate promotions, handle checkout, and promote the PLACE Card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency; prioritize assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Explain value and quality of merchandise; communicate promotions and offer solutions for out of stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout service and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels; ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a customer-ready environment and adhere to safety requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed effort.
• Handle stock processing as needed.
