Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service with strong knowledge of merchandise to ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes integrity, effective communication, and engagement with customers while supporting a positive work culture and change management within the store. The position reports to Store Management under the Store Operations department and is in-store (non-exempt).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

Responsibilities

• Process freight and price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to policy and handle cash/credit payments.
• Assist with returns, voids, and approvals; maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Provide friendly customer service, greet customers, and upsell where appropriate.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Support loss prevention and report theft or incidents.
• Assist management with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
