Job summary

The Children's Place in Tinton Falls, New Jersey is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist customers, maintain product knowledge, and uphold merchandise presentation and stockroom standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, processing transactions, and keeping the floor and backroom organized. 18+ with retail interest preferred; weekend and evening availability required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with urgency and prioritize service.
• Greet customers and provide the appropriate level of service.
• Explain value and promotions and address out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and explain the PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels with representative sizes and styles.
• Follow signage and display standards and keep the area neat.
• Keep stockroom organized and safe, with a customer-ready environment.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to Store Leadership.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
• Assist with stock processing when needed.
