Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a Sales Associate in Bloomington, MN. You will support the Store Leadership Team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and effective selling techniques.

You will maintain merchandising standards, stock replenishment, and sizing while keeping the store and backroom clean and organized, and you’ll assist with store operations and loss prevention duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions and offer solutions for out of stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate appropriate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Support and maintain a neat, clean stockroom and adhere to safety requirements.
