Job summary

The Children's Place in Queens, New York is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and help achieve company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to promote promotions and convert sales.

You will maintain merchandising standards, replenish stock, keep the store and backroom clean, and assist on the cashwrap. Availability includes weekends and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Leadership Team to achieve store goals.
• Greet customers and provide excellent service.
• Communicate product knowledge and current promotions.
• Keep merchandise presentation clean and in stock.
• Operate the cashwrap and educate customers on our PLACE Card.
• Ensure stock levels and sizes are represented and losses prevented.
• Maintain a safe, organized stockroom and store environment.
