Job summary

New Balance in Orlando is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service. You will use expert product knowledge and proper selling techniques to assist customers through every step of the transaction, while representing the brand with professionalism.

You will also help fit customers, promote current promotions, maintain a clean, well-stocked floor, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Should be a people person.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs with assistance if needed; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and pricing.
• Keep the floor neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and priced accurately.
• Protect products by tagging, monitoring inventory, and reporting shrinkage or security issues.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
