Little General Van is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary customer contact, handling sales, stocking, and store upkeep. The role requires at least 18 years old to sell tobacco, lottery products and alcohol, with English literacy a must.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours in a convenience store environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, locating products, upselling, processing payments, and following company and state policies.

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Greet and welcome all customers with a smile.
• Help customers locate product(s) whenever necessary.
• Upsell related products when appropriate.
• Record all sales on cash register and provide correct change.
• Understand and follow payment systems and transaction processes.
• Follow state laws regarding lottery, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Promote enrollment in loyalty programs.
