Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain product knowledge on the sales floor. Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Handles maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting return visits.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising sales floor according to stock level.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures to prevent shoplifting and cash losses.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
