Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and develop product knowledge in-store. You will engage with customers, process transactions, and support store operations to create a positive shopping experience.

The role requires a proactive, vigilant individual with strong communication skills, capable of working a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced retail environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight and merchandise in the store.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently during transactions.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains store cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned.
• Provides courteous customer service and greets customers.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Assists with loss prevention procedures to prevent theft and cash losses.
