Citi Trends, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong knowledge of merchandise in a fast-paced store in Shreveport, LA.

You will engage with customers, process transactions, assist with price changes, ensure accuracy of cash handling, and support store operations while upholding company policies and safety procedures. This role requires a proactive, friendly, and reliable team member who can work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains store cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting them to return.
