Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking team-oriented individuals to provide an outstanding shopping experience. You will follow service standards, meet sales goals, and lead by example in accuracy and efficiency of work.

Responsibilities include processing sales, promoting promotions, maintaining stock and store cleanliness, and helping with inventories. The role emphasizes customer service, knowledge of products, and adherence to company policies, while ensuring loss prevention and accurate cash handling

Qualifications

Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures.
Basic visual merchandising skills and an understanding of the Store Presentation Standards.

Responsibilities

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through service standards and awareness.
Promote current sales promotions and company rewards programs.
Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised.
Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
Be mindful of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving, and merchandise placement on the sales floor.
Process all sales and POS transactions accurately and securely.
