Job summary

The Children's Place in Carson, California is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques while keeping the store and backroom organized and replenished.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, communicating promotions, managing stock levels and price signage, and processing transactions at the cash wrap with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing promotions and solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
