Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in the United States is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service, uphold store standards, and contribute to sales goals. You will lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work while handling cash and POS transactions.

You will develop product knowledge, maintain merchandised displays, support promotions, and assist with inventories as needed to ensure a clean, organized shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for our customers through awareness and company service standards.

• Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas within the store.
• Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Maintain awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff members.
• Participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping and receiving merchandise.
• Process all sales and POS transactions in accordance with policy and procedure; ensure shoes are checked for mates.
