Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer customer questions about products, promotions, discounts, and special offers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions to support the shopping experience.
• Upsell through appropriate product recommendations and maintain awareness of new products and promotions.
• Promptly resolve customer concerns when able and elevate complaints or sensitive issues to store leadership when necessary.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock merchandise when low or empty.
• Assist with back stockroom organization and setup of merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, checkout area, and back stock area.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, pricing, labeling, and replenishing merchandise.
• Perform routine inventory counts and support inventory management activities as directed.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, check, credit card payments.
• Complete store administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety expectations, and loss prevention practices.
• Carry out other duties as assigned based on business needs.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention practices and report issues to store leadership.
• This role includes Lead Shift responsibilities when scheduled.
