Job summary

FirstCash is seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate for its nationwide pawn store locations. This role combines sales, loans, and merchandise transactions with a strong emphasis on customer service and compliance.

The position offers hourly pay plus an incentive commission based on productivity, with eligibility for Earned Wage Access and a broad benefits package. As a Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate, you will welcome customers, process transactions, and help drive

Qualifications

• Willing to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; flexibility in duties.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May assist customers outside storefront within property boundaries.
• Minimum age 18; HS diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and maintain the sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other duties as needed.
