Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking a full‑time Retail Sales Associate in Livingston, TX. You will greet customers, assist with sales and pawn services, and help maintain inventory and displays. You’ll handle cash and follow regulatory guidelines while providing a positive customer experience in a fast‑paced environment.

The role offers commission up to 8% on top of hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Training provided; weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, retail stockroom, or material handling experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
• Locate and retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Prepare merchandise for inventory processing and distribution.
• Inspect, clean, label, and price merchandise.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and product locations.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
