Job summary

Cash America Pawn is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Memphis, TN. You will greet customers, process sales and pawn transactions, and deliver a customer-focused experience with commission opportunities.

Earned wage access and employee discounts are available, with a schedule that supports weekend and holiday shifts. The role includes basic opening/closing tasks and a focus on accuracy and service.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks; flexible retail schedule.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with checkout systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms and paperwork.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Assist with basic opening/closing tasks and store operations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$13.50 – $16.50 per hour + Unlimited Commission

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
