Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to turn store guests into loyal customers and inspire them with home furnishings. You will guide guests, create excitement about Ashley’s products, and help design rooms they will love to live in.

This sales role thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll deliver world-class service at the front desk, process sales orders, assist with financing, and support inventory and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class service and engage with guests at the front desk.
• Process sales orders and assist with credit applications and financing as needed.
• Address customer concerns and ensure a cordial, respectful experience.
• Support opening/closing duties, cash reconciliation, and daily checklists.
• Assist with inventory management and loss prevention activities.
• Work toward or exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest. Maintain a welcoming, professional, visible presence at the front desk; engage with guests, ensuring they are always treated in a cordial, respectful manner representing the Company’s brand image.
• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols. Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required while maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently whenever possible.
• Aid in store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and completion of daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures, including participation in bi-annual inventory checks.
• Meet and exceed sales goals, align to KPI’s and performance standards.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
