Bagel Brands is seeking a Manager, Retail Revenue Accounting in Denver to lead POS, 3PD, and catering revenue reconciliation. The role combines hands‑on accounting with day‑to‑day leadership of a small team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The position collaborates with Finance, Operations, IT, and Data Engineering to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting, automation, and processes in alignment with company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years in accounting, finance, reconciliation, or financial systems.
• 2+ years of people leadership or team management experience.
• Experience with high-volume transactions and reconciliation across multi‑unit settings.
• Experience with restaurant POS workflows and third‑party delivery settlements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end reconciliation of POS, third-party delivery, catering, and retail revenue activity across bakery locations.
• Serve as subject matter expert for POS sales accounting and related revenue reconciliation processes.
• Perform and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of POS activity to bank deposits, credit card transactions, third‑party delivery settlements, cash activity, and the general ledger.
• Investigate complex discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution with cross‑functional teams.
• Support month-end close by ensuring reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, reconciliation documentation, process maps, and controls.
