Job summary

The Michaels Companies in New Lenox, IL is seeking a part-time Service Team Member for replenishment and truck unloading. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience while unloading trucks and stocking merchandise.

This role also involves store recovery, planograms, SISO, and supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store. Candidates must be 16 or older and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old per U.S. law.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Operate checkout with cash handling to standards and enroll customers in the Rewards program when applicable.
• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, maintain clean, well‑stocked shelves and complete planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, shrink and safety programs and participate in Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
