Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Algonquin, IL is seeking a part-time Service Team Member to help customers, stock shelves, and keep the store inviting. You will handle checkout and assist with truck unloads, while contributing to a well-merchandised, in-stock environment.

You’ll participate in omnichannel duties like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), with a focus on friendly service and reliability. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Participate in the Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments; follow SOPs and safety programs.
