Job summary

Dutch Wonderland is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the park's Retail and Rentals operations. The role drives revenue across all channels, manages budgets, and mentors the Retail team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in retail/merchandising, 1–2 years in supervision, and a Bachelor's in a related field. Strong Excel skills and bilingual abilities are a plus. This position balances office work with on-site park locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma desired; Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, merchandising, or related discipline highly desired.
• 3–5 years of previous retail or merchandising work experience.
• 1–2 years of previous supervisor experience leading a team of employees.
• Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus.
• Fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Retail and Rentals operations within the park.
• Lead and develop Retail and Rentals teams; coach and mentor staff.
• Manage budgets, revenue, and cost controls; monitor spending and profitability.
• Coordinate store operations, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and PCI requirements.
• Analyze sales data and inventories to optimize product flow and stock levels.
