Job summary

Food Lion is hiring for a store position focused on delivering fast, friendly customer service and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The role supports daily store operations, including cleaning, basic stocking, and following standard procedures to minimize shrink and improve productivity.

Candidates should be able to work with computer systems, meet physical requirements, and comply with Food Lion policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and handle technical requirements of the job.
• Must be able to work with computer-based systems and learn procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a clean, safe, inviting place to shop.
• Maintain store standards and follow safety guidelines.
• Sweep and clean floors during night shifts and weekly department cleaning.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Follow QA and sanitation standards and safety guidelines.
• Wear Food Lion uniform and complete required CBT and training.
