Job summary

Food Lion in Charlotte, NC is hiring a store associate to help maintain a clean, safe and inviting shopping environment. You will deliver fast, friendly customer service, assist shoppers, stock shelves and operate the cash register as needed.

You will follow QA and sanitation standards, learn the standard practices, and adhere to safety guidelines. The role requires physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods, with training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Sweep and clean floors on nights with no scheduled vendor services.
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli Departments.
• Follow QA daily check list and sanitation standards set by Food Lion.
• Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause accidents and report them.
