MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Retail Processor to join our Lawrence store – 31st team. Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects goods to distinguish quality and suitability for sales floor, recycling or online sales.
• Identify and price items within AMI pricing guidelines.
• Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks and maintains cleanliness of the store area.
• Provide positive customer service interactions with in-person and phone customers.
• Works cross-functionally with other teams to improve communication.
• Maintains safe work practices and a hazard-free workplace.
• Adheres to dress code and safeguards agency assets.
