Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for the Pittsburg Broadway team to support our mission of Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. You will handle donations, sort items, and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role includes pricing items with AMI software, maintaining cleanliness, stocking and rotating merchandise, and collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; degree not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspect items to distinguish quality and where to place them.
• Identify and price items using the pricing software.
• Maintain store area cleanliness and restock as needed.
• Provide friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
