NW Staffing LLC, doing business as Express Rx, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a retail setting. The role focuses on prescription processing, patient communication, and assisting pharmacists to ensure safe medication distribution.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state board registration, and strong patient-care and communication skills. Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred, with certification considered an asset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• National Certification is an asset and rewarded with increased PTO and pay.
• Experience with prescription management systems (e.g., Pioneer) a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacists in safe distribution of medications and pharmaceutical care.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and verify validity.
• Enter prescriptions into the system under supervision and review.
• Ensure patient and prescription data are complete and accurate.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select medicines and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Stock, label medications and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks and recordkeeping as needed.
• Comply with security measures and quality standards.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
