NW Staffing LLC, doing business as Express Rx, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a retail setting to process prescriptions and interact with patients. You will support pharmacists, handle inventory, and perform administrative tasks, while adhering to regulations; note that final prescription checks and patient counseling are prohibited.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, state Board registration, strong math and customer service skills, and retail pharmacy experience

• State Board of Pharmacy registration required.

• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, certifications a plus.
• Familiarity with prescription management systems (Pioneer) a plus.

Mansioni

• Assist pharmacists in safe medication distribution and care.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and verify validity.
• Enter/process prescriptions under pharmacist review.
• Ensure patient and prescription information is accurate.
• Resolve issues, e.g., insurance claims, as needed.
• Select medicines and measure dosages for filling.
• Stock, label, and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Comply with security and quality standards.
