Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in safe distribution of medications and patient care.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and verify their validity.
• Enter prescriptions into the system per policy and regulations.
• Ensure all patient and prescription data are accurate.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select meds and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Stock, label, and manage inventory; perform administrative tasks.
• Comply with security measures and quality standards.
