Job summary

NW Staffing LLC dba Express Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a retail pharmacy environment. The successful candidate will have a High School diploma, be state-registered, and demonstrate strong math and customer service skills.

Experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred. This position reports to the PIC or Lead Pharmacy Technician and requires attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Strong focus on patient care and customer service.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Retail experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• National Certification is an asset with increased PTO and pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications and patient care.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and verify their validity.
• Enter prescriptions into the system under pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure patient and prescription information is accurate.
• Resolve insurance claim issues.
• Stock, label, and manage inventory; perform administrative tasks.
• Comply with security measures and quality standards.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
