The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, State Board of Pharmacy registration, strong math and communication skills, and retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in safe distribution of medications and patient care.
• Sterilize surfaces and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and verify accuracy.
• Enter prescriptions into the system under supervision.
• Ensure patient and prescription data are complete and accurate.
• Resolve issues like rejected insurance claims.
• Select medications and measure dosages for filling.
• Stock, label medications and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain compliance with policies.
• Adhere to security measures and quality standards.
